Membership & Billing

How Can I Freeze My Account?
  1. Submit a Freeze Request: Complete the freeze request form available on our website here.
  2. Deadline: Requests must be submitted by the last day of the month prior to the month you wish to freeze.
  3. Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation once your request has been processed.

Automatic billing occurs on the 1st day of every month. Please ensure your payment information is up-to-date to avoid service interruptions.

The automatic billing date is fixed on the 1st of the month and cannot be changed.

To update your billing information or make a payment:

Online: Log in to your account and navigate to the billing section to update your card information.

In-Person: Visit any of our salon locations for assistance.

Contact Us: Reach out through our contact form for support or call us at 1-888-SOLEIL1.

Please do not send sensitive payment information via email or the contact form.

To create a membership account with Soleil Tans:

  • Online: Visit our membership page and follow the instructions to sign up.
  • In-Person: Stop by any of our salon locations, and our friendly staff will assist you.

To change your current membership to a different plan:

If your payment is declined:
You’ll receive a notification via email or phone.

  • Please update your payment information promptly to avoid service disruptions.
  • If you need assistance, contact our billing department through the contact form.
  • Declined payments will incur a $10 service fee. 
 
 

All changes must be made by the day before your draft date.

To cancel your membership:

Submit a Cancellation Request: Use our contact form to submit your cancellation.

  1. Deadline: Cancellations must be submitted by the 20th of the month to be effective for the next month.
  2. Important Note: Cancellations are not accepted in person at any of our locations.

If you request to cancel your membership after the 20th of the month:

You are still responsible for payment for the following month.

  • Your cancellation will take effect after the next billing cycle.

Do I Need an Appointment?

We currently accept walk-in services.  We don’t offer scheduled appointments.

  • 18 Years and Older: Clients aged 18 and above can use UV tanning services without restrictions.
  • UV Tanning for Minors 17-Year-Old Guests: Require parental accompaniment for the first visit. The parent must accompany the minor on the first visit to sign the agreement, granting permission.

We recommend tanning one to two times a week to maintain your desired color. Always allow adequate time between sessions for your skin to rest.

  • Shower and Exfoliate: Remove dead skin cells for a more even tan.
  • Avoid Barriers: Do not wear makeup,  moisturizers, or perfumes, as these can create a barrier on the skin.
  • Protective Eyewear: Always wear FDA-compliant protective eyewear during your session.

SPRAY

Do I need an appointment?

We currently accept walk-in services.  We don’t offer scheduled appointments.

Spray Tanning for Minors (Ages 14-17): Guests aged 14-17 may spray tan with parental consent. The parent must accompany the minor on the first visit to sign the agreement, granting permission.

A spray tan typically lasts between 5 to 10 days, with the average being 7 days, depending on your skin type and how often you moisturize. Proper preparation, aftercare, and using spray-friendly products can help extend the life of your tan.

  • Exfoliate and Shave: For optimal result the day before your appointment, exfoliate your skin to remove dead skin cells and shave any areas as needed.
  • Avoid Lotions and Oils: Do not apply lotions, deoderants, oils, perfumes, or products that may leave a residue on your skin before your session unless you use one of our mri intellegent tanning lotions that are spray tan friendly.
After your Norvell Spray Tan, wait the recommended processing time before showering, as advised by your spray tan tech. Avoid activities that cause sweating or getting wet. Wear loose, dark clothing until rinse time, opt for long, loose pants and a shirt or sweatshirt; refrain from applying lotions or makeup, or  until after rinsing. When the processing time is complete, rinse thoroughly with warm water (not hot!) until the water runs clear to remove the cosmetic bronzer, avoiding soaps, shaving, or hair washing during this first rinse, and address any streaks by rinsing again. For aftercare, use Soleil Tans approved moisturizers, while avoiding products with mineral oils, petroleum, alcohol, parabens, or sulfates, which can cause uneven fading—keeping skin hydrated with moisturizer and drinking lots of water is essential for a long-lasting tan. Avoid hot tubs, chlorinated pools, and products like anti-aging treatments, AHAs, Retin-A, or salicylic acid, which can fade your tan quickly, and if you tan regularly, exfoliate fully before your next session for even, lasting results.

  • Hydrate: Drink plenty of water before your session.
  • Comfortable Clothing: Wear light, comfortable attire.
  • Avoid Lotions and Perfumes: These can interfere with the therapy.
  • Set Goals: Decide whether you want to focus on relaxation, muscle recovery, or another benefit.

OTHER

Cash Handling Policy
To enhance security and reduce the risk of cash discrepancies, Soleil Tans has implemented a cash handling policy. Bills larger than $1 will not be accepted under any circumstances.
Compliance with New Jersey State Guidelines:
This policy is in accordance with N.J.S.A. 56:8-2.33, which requires businesses to accept cash as a form of payment. While we are required to accept cash, the law allows us to limit the denominations accepted—provided that cash payments are not refused entirely.
