We care about every customer that walks through our door, and we’d like to educate you on some Sun Safety Tips.
Not all sunlight has equal UV concentration levels. The time of the year and your geographic location each contribute to the intensity of UV rays. On top of that, UV rays are stronger are certain points of the day (usually between 10a.m. and 4p.m.), and as we all know, UV rays can be harmful even on the cloudiest and coldest of days.
It is also very important to double-check if you are taking any medications. In some cases, medications will increase the skin’s sensitivity to UV rays, and you can burn in just a few minutes.
Overexposure to the sun can eventually cause wrinkles and age spots, and those are no fun. If you notice any new freckles or discolored areas of your skin, visit your doctor immediately.
